City of Long Beach Fire Classification Change:

The fire classification within the City of Long Beach has changed from a 6 rating to a 5 rating. Residents and Businesses should contact your insurance company to inquire about reduction in your fire insurance premium.

Services

Burn Permits:

All citizens that burn within the Long Beach city limits must obtain a burn permit prior to burning. Burn permits may be obtained from fire station # 1 ONLY, 7 days a week from 8AM-6PM. This station is located at 645 Klondyke Road. There is no charge for the permit.

Smoke Alarm Program

The State Fire Marshall's Office has received a grant and refunded the Smoke Detector Program.  If you are in need of smoke detectors in your home or are unsure, call the Long Beach Fire Department at (228) 863-7292 and we will be glad to come do an inspection of your residence and see if you qualify.
